The bill is currently at the Committee stage in the House of Lords, where it is being carefully examined and debated.
Martyn’s Law must complete the legislative process before becoming a law. This involves being debated and approved by both Houses of Parliament, followed by receiving Royal Assent to become an act of law. It is anticipated that Martyn’s Law will achieve Royal Assent by spring 2025.
As part of our commitment to helping schools prepare, we’ve developed a Martyn’s Law Compliance Package. This one-day package is designed to equip schools with an effective yet proportionate capability to ensure compliance.
